These are gooooood and my new breakfast staple. A great use for old bananas and you can switch them up by adding nuts and raisins. Did I mention they are healthy too? No sugar and no butter? These are definitely the right way to start the day!
Makes 18
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oats
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 4 small bananas mashed up
- 1 pot of organic apple sauce babyfood
- 4 tbsp of stevia
- 2 eggs
- 100g walnuts
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 50g raisins (optional)
Method:
- Combine bananas and eggs using a hand whisk
- Add apple sauce and whisk
- Add all other ingredients and mix by hand
- Divide mixture into paper cases, top with dry oats if desired and put into the oven at 180 C for 15 minutes until golden brown
